REAL TIME INFO
See where your staffing stands, right now.
Einstein II shows organizations where gaps or variances exist in scheduling right now, in real-time. Users can, at a single glance, on a single screen, see where they stand and where action is required – having all of the information they need to make corrections at their fingertips.
Slice-and-dice by department, skillset, employee status, current census, and more. For example, see at a single glance the current census vs. what’s budgeted vs. what’s required vs. what’s scheduled. In other words, users get to see their world as it exists right now and get immediate answers to their most pressing questions.
ROLE BASED EXPERIENCE
Address any staffing issues without delay.
Action without delay and decisions without difficulty: that’s what Einstein II’s dashboard delivers. E2 creates a role-based dashboard or landing page for each user that (1) gives them both the information they need to make decision and (2) the ability to take action – like floating nurses, approved time off, handling sick calls – using only a couple of clicks.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING
Create optimized schedules automatically using your rules.
“Clinical managers spend up to 70% of their time coping with common staffing problems,” reports Beckers Hospital Review. By utilizing an intelligent, automated and predictive staffing solution, organizations can realize “a time savings of 7-15 hours per manager per pay period.”
Einstein II can create automatic schedules no matter how difficult or complicated the regulations or organization rules may be – it even works seamlessly for ED and surgical services – and then presents a balanced and optimized schedule for easy review, single-click adjustment and approval.
Seriously, this functionality is powerful: this one function alone is worth the time for a demo.

POINT AND CLICK
Adjust schedules manually, with just minimal clicks.
Users can easily make changes to the schedule at any time and from any device. Book employees to a shift, remove them from the schedule, inquire about availability, or review staff requests. You can do all of it quickly and easily from within Einstein II, whose fully-customizable, color-coded schedule can be adjusted just by clicking where you want to make changes.
Communicate schedules automatically via multiple channels.
Einstein II texts, emails and even makes phone calls for you, broadcasting new staffing needs and/or newly approved schedules without any effort on the user’s part. Schedulers can even configure automatic communication rules to communicate with the right individuals or groups. Then, those employees can enter their availability right back into the phone for instant feedback.

Allow employees to self-schedule.
Employees get just as much out of Einstein II. They can input their requests ahead of time so that schedulers have that information readily available. Simultaneously, employees receive “touch of a button” access to the specifics of their future shift assignments. They can self-schedule, initiate or accept swap requests, make time off requests, view all applicable open needs, and more. In addition, they can customize their communication preferences for voice, text and/or email. Employees can even comment to each other on their swap requests: “I’ll buy you a coffee if you’ll take my shift.”
Review employee availability and requests, at a glance.
Approve employee requests all at once, with as little as one click. Einstein II will automatically register employee inputs – be it availability, shift requests, time off requests, or swap requests – and present them for quick, color-coded review. Managers can also click on all eligible employees and drill down into specific groups (like those qualified to work a particular department) and see every data point you need to make a scheduling decision. Much of this can be automated; for example, if an employee shift swap request meets your pre-defined rules, it can be approved without wasting the manager’s time.

ALERTS AND TRIGGERS
Reduce premium pay, optimize scheduling, achieve goals.
Einstein II will proactively alert managers and executives to any scheduling decision that would violate an organizational goal. For example, it will try to prevent accidental or unnecessary overtime by triggering an alert; then, Einstein II will suggest alternative employees who meet all requirements but won’t require premium pay for that shift. You can still choose those workers; Einstein II simply provides you the information needed to make the right decision for that shift.
Configure any aspect of E2 to work with your organization.
When we come in to scope your organization’s needs, we enable each department to set up Einstein II however they need, setting just the right rules for that unit within Einstein II. Any rules. That may sound like over-promising; but in fact, it’s the core principle around which E2 was built: it must be configured to fit your organization with surgical precision.
Next: Schedule a demo now, or see how that near-infinite configurability includes a high-impact component: acuity.
Get ahead of acuity, however you measure it.
Acuity (in whatever way you calculate it) can be incorporated into Einstein II and used to help even out the workload across staff. This applies to departments whose scheduling may be handled differently and may involve unusual complexities, like the ICU’s and ED. Einstein II can communicate acuity levels in real-time to charge nurses, so they can make the appropriate staffing assignments based on the workload of the patient and unit activity.
Forecast the future before you’re blindsided by it.
For anyone who worries about having too many or too few resources when needed, Einstein II can help you to know that, say, next Friday, given historical data and E2’s predictive engine, you will need X resources. All of that information is resident within Einstein II and can be used to create accurate predictive schedules. In fact, intelligent scheduling platforms like Einstein II generate forecasts up to 20% more accurately than relying on historical averages alone, according to Beckers Hospital Review. That’s more impactful than it may seem at first glance: Forrester Research has written, “Predictive analytics can have a multiplicative model on the bottom line.”

BOUNDLESS REPORTING CAPABILITIES
Generate any report you need, from volume trends to specific labor costs.
Einstein II distills intelligence out of information drawn from disparate sources, and then displays that insight for you in real-time, role-based, action-driven dashboards. From beginning to end, E2 helps users to see their world as it exists right now and get immediate answers to their most pressing questions.
Anything you do in the system, you can report on. ANY information resident in the system can be captured, compiled, sliced-and-diced, and presented in any format for any time period. All of the reports you already build manually each week are just a single link away in Einstein II. In fact, we can build any custom report you need right into the system.
Answer questions you didn’t even know HAD answers.
Einstein II can do more than just automate your current reports: it can answer questions you didn’t even know had answers. Here’s just a sampling:
- How are you trending this year versus last in any measure?
- Who are your under-performing departments and why?
- What are the productivity stats for any individual, group, unit, department, or facility?
- Who’s working where with what skills in any given unit on any given day?
The result of being able to answer all of these questions, from the startling to the strategic, is to shift your organization from reactive to proactive, to prevent problems before they occur, to optimize your schedules weeks in advance.
